This was the best Focaccia we´ve ever had. We have been to many places in Italy, Barcelona etc. but this was hands down the best experience we´ve ever had. This is a family owned business and its obvious that the owners love what they do. The focaccia is homemade and is made with love. This business deserves all the hype it can get, If you´re ever in Pompei, give this place a visit!!!

If you are visiting Pompeii then you should also visit this focacceria. Really nice place with tasty sandwiches (focaccia). I ordered one for myself and was full after eating it. The lady at the bar can’t speak English but it wasn’t an issue. She was very friendly and helped in making order. The only drawback was a paper-plastic cup we get for drinks.

We found that place by accident, and it was a 10/10. We ordered the L'Italiana set and some wine. After the first bite, I ordered another one (La Classica) because it was just that good. The owner is extremely kind, very joyful, and you can tell he loves what he does. The wine is made by him, and it was also excellent. ???????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????!

We just had the most amazing expeience dringend our trip along the Amalfi coast. Lunch at Focacceria e vieria a di Matti ... we got there and asked for anything else but focaccia. The guy at the entrance told us that if we want noodles he will have noodles prepared. Out of the kitchen came Nonna Anna and we placed our oder. A little time later we had introduced ourselves to a nice canadian couple at the next table while waiting for the food to arrive. We had Spagetti with meat sauce and Spagetti with olive oil, timatoe and some greens. All freshly prepared and plenty. It can not be more authentic then that. Out of the blue Anna offered some fresh and crusty bread and Nutella for my daghter. On top some Espresso. Not from the mashine but from the espresso boiling can. See picture. Absolutely amazing hospitality. Anna you made our day. Ti vogliamo bene!!
